GAMAVILLA QUARTET E’ un ensemble formata dai migliori musicisti della Moravian Philarmonic Orchestra di Olomouc, una delle più importanti orchestre della Repubblica Ceca. E’ stato fondato nel 1998 e sin dall’inizio della sua attività si è specializzato nella musica classica, dalla renaissance del romanticismo all’interpretazione della musica del ventesimo secolo. L’ensemble ha interpretato anche musica jazz con notevole successo e arrangiamenti dei pezzi più conosciuti dei Beatles e brani conosciuti di George Gershwin sono diventati brani molto importanti del repertorio. Il Gamavilla Quartet si è esibito con successo in importanti festival della Repubblica Ceca. Nel 2002 l’Ensemble ha registrato musiche del compositore americano David Fetherholf. Il Gamavilla Quartet prende anche parte a numerosi concert tour di importanti musicisti Pop, ad esempio nel 2005 ha seguito Rod Steward attraverso l’Europa.

Church of San Biagio

With its very simple structure, the church of San Biagio dates back to the start of the 16th century, the portico to the 18th century. At the top of the façade, there is a Baroque bell tower. The choir is decorated with some frescoes, in particular, the Fathers of the Church are depicted on the vault. It also houses a truly remarkable masterpiece: the majestic Flügelaltar (winged altarpiece) created by Michael Parth and his workshop from Bruneck, dating back to 1536. The central panel depicts the three figures of Saint Blaise, the Madonna and Child, and Saint Florian.
