The first stone was blessed on 5 May 1858. The altar with the Saints Cancio, Canciano and Cancianilla, patrons of the church, is particularly valuable. It is also called the “Altar of the Birth”, because the predella at the centre houses a pretty Nativity scene. The altar of the Blessed Virgin is a lovely example of 18th-century wooden sculpture, a work attributed to Eugenio Mangani from Pieve di Cadore in 1723. The statue of the Madonna of the Rosary, placed in the niche, is by Pizzini (end of 1800s).
