The Tanaka-Del Gobbo Duo takes us on a journey through Italian and Japanese music. We will begin with Respighi’s Antiche Arie e Danze, a captivating blend of pieces for piano four hands and solo works, including Il Balletto, Il conte Orlando and Le Gagliarde. The second part will be dedicated to Japanese music, featuring Three old art-dances by Yamada and The Seasons of Japan by Nakada, transporting us through the landscapes and traditions of a distant land. Alessandro Del Gobbo, a young and versatile pianist, is known for his confident technique and his ability to tell stories through music, while Wakana Tanaka, a talented Japanese pianist, brings with her a wealth of international awards and experiences. This evening promises a unique opportunity to explore diverse sound worlds and be enchanted by the magic of the piano.
