Saxophone and accordion come together in a lively and eclectic program that starts with J. S. Bach's music and covers some of the best compositions of the 20th century, specially transcribed for the duo. The two instruments will be heard conversing on Piazzolla's pieces, chasing each other on modern Latin tango by Javier Girotto, and exploring some of the most iconic and memorable themes of film music, with particular attention to Ennio Morricone. The duo is active in exploring timbre and repertoire, and on this occasion, they leave the challenge to the listener to juxtapose Baroque music with modern music, spanning the full range of colours and expressions that the two instruments offer.

Madonna del Monte Castellano Sanctuary
The Madonna di Raveo Sanctuary was built following a vision of the Madonna that occurred here in 1619. The devoted population immediately got to work building a church dedicated to Mary’s maternity. It was located along an old cobblestone street that connects Raveo to Valdie, Luvieis, and Pani, in a stopping place where pilgrims found rest and refreshment. Over the centuries, the Sanctuary became very popular due to the handing down of miraculous events linked to the resurrection of some unbaptized babies.
