The performative project was born from the collaboration between Teatri 35, renowned for its creation of tableaux vivants (literally living pictures), and the Vittorio Calamani Philharmonic Orchestra. The work stems from the study of two great artists of the Italian Renaissance, Michelangelo Buonarroti and Raffaello Sanzio, captured in their relationship with the material. Painting and sculpture confront and dialogue through the representation of these two great masters' works, where the natural element is rendered through a chromatic climax that transitions from the purity of Michelangelo Buonarroti's marble in David to the pastel colors of Raffaello Sanzio. The Genius of Michelangelo's sculpture and the Divine of Raffaello's painting. In this new production, the works of these two great Italian artists are explored in relation to Johann Sebastian Bach's Musical Offering BWV 1079, the dynamic construction of the performance finds its balance in the musical suspension of a halt, in the still image of an action in progress that compels the body to a vibrant and pulsating muscular tension.
Church of San Nicolò
It has been established that a church already existed in Amaro by 1350. This church was restored in 1450 and in 1650, and rebuilt in 1742. From a 1773 document, we learn that, in the past, this church had been the first branch of the parish church of Cesclans and, later, of Cavazzo.
