Alexey Botvinov is one of the foremost specialists in Rachmaninoff and an internationally renowned artist. His career includes performances in 48 countries, prizes in major competitions, and collaborations with world-famous orchestras and artists. Founder of 'Odessa Classics,' he received numerous recognitions, including the Platinum Medal from the French Academy.
The famous Patetica opens the program with its tragic and visionary power, followed by Chopin's Nocturnes, pages of poignant lyricism, and the captivating Ballad No. 1, a masterpiece of narrative impulse. The second part is dedicated to Rachmaninoff, who takes us to the heart of Russia with the Elegie, four Preludes, and five Songs transcribed for piano, before concluding with Tears ed Easter, where spirituality and pathos merge in a deeply evocative musical language.

Church of San Rocco

Located at the edge of the town, towards the road that led to the Maina ford, the building, with its gabled façade introduced by the wide, tripartite portico, is a treasure chest of 18th century art. A rich wooden altar preserves the painting by Giuseppe Buzzi with Saint Nicholas and Saints Vitus and Maurice, while in the wooden altar opposite, there is a late altarpiece with Saints Florian and Lawrence.

The main, triptych altar has a central altarpiece by Secante Secanti depicting the Madonna and child surrounded by Saints Daniel, Roch, Sebastian, and Lawrence. To the sides, the lavish Comuzzo frames surround the Last Supper and Christ delivering the cross to the Aquileia proto-martyrs Ermacora and Fortunato.
