Las femines In/cjant was a project that, starting from the female figures in the texts of Giorgio Ferigo, touched upon Carnia through the musical encounter between Caia and Loris Vescovo, where they found a new expressive form even villotte and folk singing, not only from Friuli.
A journey that began several years earlier, also in the experience of the Fûrclàp of Giulio Venier, and which, through the many who were able to collaborate and sing with Caia, crossed different sensitivities and styles, giving us, step by step, an unforgettable artist.

Carnic Museum "Michele Gortani"
The Carnic Museum of Folk Arts "Michele Gortani" of Tolmezzo, housed in the seventeenth-century Palazzo Campeis, displays a rich collection of ethnographic, artistic and artisanal objects that embrace all aspects of Carnic life and traditions from the 14th to the 19th centuries. The exhibition path unwinds through 30 rooms, which reconstruct the home and working environments: the kitchen, the bedrooms, the small dining room, the brazier, weaver and carpenter's workshops.
Specific sections dedicated to traditional crafts, wrought iron, weights and measures, folk dress, weaving, embroidery, and laces can also be seen. You can also admire a rich collection of portraits, a room entirely dedicated to folk religion, a rich collection of masks and a valuable collection of musical instruments. With so many objects on display, the Museum “Michele Gortani” is one of Europe's most important ethnographic museums; it is part of the CarniaMusei network.
